Tarragon the Usurper

"Tarragon the Usurper is a Saiyan from Planet Vegeta and the father of Saiyan warrior Castitas. As King Vegeta's personal assassin, he killed off political opponents that proved a threat to the king's rule. But Tarragon also had plans to usurp the throne; He wanted to kill King Vegeta and take his place as the rightful king, a position he believes he should have been granted, no Vegeta. But there was one thing that always kept him from fulfilling that; Freeza. Freeza, seeing just how powerful Tarragon was, kept him paid, much higher than the other Saiyans, to keep King Vegeta alive, as his death would no doubt cause a power vacuum that would destroy the Saiyans before Freeza was done with them. Begrudgingly, Tarragon accepted the terms. During this time, he learned about Bardock's rebellion against Freeza and tried to inform him, but was met with silence. Beginning to expect that Bardock was speaking the truth, Tarragon quietly escaped the planet, away from the eyes of Freeza's entire empire.


On a distant planet not far from Planet Vegeta, he saw the planet's destruction personally, seeing the massive energy sphere destroy Planet Vegeta in one fell swoop. With his planet gone, Tarragon began looking for another potential planet to rule over and take his place as rightful king, while he bided his time, and his power, until he felt it was time to kill Freeza once and for all. But his plans would once again be dashed; This time by Bardock's own son; Kakarot, known on the planet Earth that he grew up on as Goku. Destroying the tyrant, Goku brought peace to an otherwise terrified universe. And once again, Tarragon was at odds end. With no one to enact his revenge on and no planet willing to accept him as king, he continues wandering the universe to this day, waiting for the day to find a planet where he's accepted as king."
